Hello. My name is Stephen Murther and I am an accredited funeral celebrant serving clients and funeral directors across Northumberland
WHO I AM
My name is Stephen Murther, I am 64 years old and have for the greater part of my life lived in Bedlington Northumberland. I love the area, the culture and the people here.
My interests are football, reading travel and music - to the extent that I also sing in local care homes and some social clubs.
For the last 30 years I have been working with and talking to people as a presenter, trainer and as a coach This means that I fully appreciate how important it is that every conversation, situation and message is unique to the individual in both content and delivery. I firmly believe that a celebration of a loved one`s life should be both accurate and engaging. Having lost loved ones myself in recent years, I also recognise the need for professionalism, sensitivity and accuracy. I am passionate about this and committed to creating a unique and accurate story of how your loved ones have lived their own lives and also how they have touched the lives of others.
WHAT I OFFER
I offer a professional, sensitive, accurate ond bespoke celebration of the life of your loved one, based upon informal conversations with the family and where appropriate, friends and colleagues
RESEARCH
I will meet with everyone who wishes to contribute details and personal anecdotes, at the earliest possible time, ideally at their home to create a relaxed atmosphere
REVIEW
Complete satisfaction is important to me and drafts will be sent to my client for approval or amendment until all details are agreed upon
DELIVERY
I will arrive at the location of the service in good time ahead of the funeral party to check all technical areas. I will liaise with the support teams to ensure any media requests are in place and then deliver your loved one`s story to those in attendance
AFTERCARE
After the service I will leave you with a printed copy of the celebration as a keepsake. I will also stay at the venue afterwards should you have any further questions for me
ACCREDITATION
I was trained by the Association of Proffessional Celebrants, the UK`s largest provider. I passed the accreditation with distinction. I have also been accredited by the two key media suppliers , Obitus and Wesley Media and am fully briefed on how to use their systems and equipment.
COMMUNICATION
I will stay in regular contact with both yourself and the Funeral Director to ensure that all is being carried out to your satisfaction
